Johar is the Founder of Falak Thoyib KPtal. He has been in the banking industry for more than 25 years, serving two Central Banks (Malaysia and the UAE), two Islamic Banks and one Islamic Finance Company. He was also in the Fintech Industry for more than 4 years, co-founded 2 Islamic Fintech Firms. One owns and operates a digital marketplace for Re-Rahnu product (the first in the world) and the other offers Earned Wage Access (EWA) facility.

He was with OCBC Al-Amin for almost 9 years before leaving to set-up Fintech start-ups in 2019. At OCBC Al-Amin, he was heading the Treasury Department and was given the responsibility to be the Acting CEO during the CEO’s absence.
His start-up, Shoraka Suyula Platform was selected for FIKRA (an accelerator program by the SC), voted Top 3 Islamic Fintech 2023, accorded Malaysia Digital status by the Government of Malaysia, secured an Innovation License by the Dubai IFC. The Company achieved profitability after 2 years in operation.
He is also an avid outdoor man who has conquered the peak of Kilimanjaro, completed the Doi Inthanon Cycling Challenge and tamed the monster Tuna of Arabian Sea, Oman, among others

His tenure as Acting CEO and Treasurer at Asian Finance Bank Berhad highlights his capability in overseeing comprehensive bank operations and pioneering the establishment of efficient treasury operations.

Throughout his illustrious career, Azidy has been a pivotal member of various high-profile committees, such as the Business and Investment Committee at Koperasi Permodalan FELDA and the Industry Curriculum and Examination Committee at the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB). His roles have consistently involved significant responsibilities, including managing substantial asset portfolios, formulating long-term trading and investment strategies, and ensuring stringent compliance with regulatory requirements.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Finance from Western Michigan University, USA (1986-1988), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Finance and minors in Economics and General Business from the same institution (1984-1986). Additionally, he is an Associate Fellow of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, a member of the Financial Market Association (FMA) Malaysian Chapter and has served on the FMA Certificate Examination Committee at AICB.

Azahari Bin Abd Kudus brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in both leadership and specialist roles within local and international banks, encompassing both conventional and Islamic banking sectors. His extensive expertise includes treasury management, portfolio management, capital markets (as an investor, arranger, and international issuer), and product development and structuring. Azahari's profound knowledge in conventional and Islamic banking and finance is underpinned by formal education and extensive market practice.

Before transitioning to consultancy and training, Azahari served as Chief Treasurer at Kuwait Finance House (M) Berhad and later at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. At IsDB, he led teams responsible for regular sukuk issuance in the international market and managed liquidity portfolios, including sukuk portfolios, for the Bank and other funds. As an Individual Consultant and Project Manager, he successfully managed a significant transitional project at IsDB, demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis skills. This project, completed and audited in March 2024, showcased his ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and boundaries.
Currently, Azahari is consulting for a local Islamic bank, structuring and launching two products for the Islamic interbank and wholesale markets. Additionally, he is a certified and accredited trainer by the Human Resources Development Corporation (HRDC) since mid-2024.

Adjunct Professor Dr. Zaharuddin Abd Rahman has extensive 18 years of corporate, banking and finance experience, including products structure, legal, audit and risk.
Currently he is serving as Adjunct Professor at Faculty of Business and Accountancy of UNISZA & UNISEL, a member of Shariah Advisory Council of Securities Commission of Malaysia, Chairman of Shariah Committee of Exim Bank Malaysia, PUNB and ONEXOX. He is also a Shariah Committee member of EPF Malaysia (Simpanan Shariah).

He was a member of Board of Directors at University Sultan Zainal Abidin (UNisZA) where he is a Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and also a member of Finance & Investment Committee of UnisZA; additionally, he served Board of Trustee of Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia (YAPIEM) where he is also a Chairman of Risk Committee.
He also appointed as member of Majlis Syura (Consultative Council) of Penang and Perlis Fatwa Council. Dr. Zaharuddin served as an Asst. Professor at the Kulliyyah of Economics, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) for more than 10 years. He obtained his degree from University of Malaya, MA in Shariah from Al-Yarmouk University, Jordan and PhD in Islamic Studies and Finance from University of Wales specializing in Islamic Derivatives and Maqasid al-Shariah.
His has served RHB Islamic Bank Ltd, Malaysia as a Senior Shariah Manager & Product Development and later, joining Asian Finance Bank Ltd as Head (Vice President) of the Shariah Compliance. He has a vast experience in Shariah, audit and legal where he has served various institutions as Senior Consultant & Shariah Advisor for Central Bank of Malaysia (BNM), OSK Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank, Al-Rajhi Bank Malaysia, Standard Chartered Saadiq Bank, ACR ReTakaful Bahrain, BIMB Securities Sdn Bhd, CIMB Islamic Bank and others.
To-date, he has written over 21 books and hundreds of articles on Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Banking and other Shariah matters in journal.
